Petit port de pêche de Cassis situé à 25 km de Marseille et 50 km d'Aix en Provence, entre Aubagne et La Ciotat, Cassis est enserrée entre le Cap Canaille, dont les falaises, les plus hautes d'Europe, surplombent la mer à 416 m, et le massif des calanques, entaillé de profonds canyons appelés "calanques".

PAs encore beuacoup de monde sur le quai , en cette heure matinale . Les couleurs bien saturées donnet de l'éclat à cette vue prise sous un éclairage encore faible .

C'est vrai que mis à part un l'homme en jaune, il n'y avait pas âme qui vive ;)
Tu as saisi les derniers rayons de soleil qui ont donné un bel éclat aux couleurs vives des maisons.

Une saturation parfaite qui donne aux façades une belle lumière.
Rares sont les moments où l'on peut profiter pleinement du silence, surtout à Cassis.

La composition, très colorée, est belle mais j'ai quand même l'impression que tu as un peu trop forcé sur la saturation des couleurs ce qui semble avoir un peu dénaturé le ciel?

this is a beautiful and perfect composition.like the textured decayed wall around the windows of the architecture.

Tu marches sur les plates bandes d'Eric (LOOOK13), tu vas devoir lui payer des royalties pour cette image colorée d'unport du Sud est de la France. Belles couleurs vives du petit matin, le balayeur municipal s'en va plus loin.

Fantastic warm cold color contrasts between the yellow, red & blue, with the fg boats adding depth & repetition. Good sharpness & superb gradient work on the sky. You missed a bit inside the street lamp at top left. The diagonals add perspective. Marvellous sharpness! Merci!

Hello Christiane - The richness and depth of colour in this shot is very lovely. Without this attribute the image, although well composed, would not have the impact that this does. There is so much detail and colour contrast in the scene I think the location could provide many detail shots as well as this wider view. Lovely work Warm regards Rosemary

Bonjour, chère amie Cricri,
la faible luminosité du matin nous offre quelques chaudes tonalités sur les couleurs vivantes de l'architecture de ces jolies maisons dans le port, qu'elles ont un grand niveau esthétique.
Il y a une atmosphère très tranquille, encore des gens ne se voient pas dans la rue, et l'image nous permet de sentir le silence du moment capté.
Une belle composition.

What a medley of colours we have here, a clean shot a real feast to the eyes. A scene that never makes us feel sad or down looking at this shot, so well composed with good depth to add the already magnificient shot. Crispy sharp, subtle light and the contrast is so striking and beautifully bold indeed. Congrats on your fine observation. Great work.

Beautiful contrasts and clarity and sharpness all over the image, a great way to present this calm port. Love the partially sun lit houses. The colors are just really nice. Though there are visible gradient lines on the sky, maybe due to the PP work.
