Clérans castle, Saint-Léon-sur-Vézère

One view.
Other view. the keep of the La Salle manor.

Clérans castle of 16th century, belongs to private owners who do not allow the visits. Great difficulties to photograph it.

Partially visible in WS, and possessed by the same owners, we can perceive near, the manor of La Salle and the adjacent priory, of the 15th century. The medieval square keep is interesting with machicoulis, crenels, archères, latrines in corbelled construction. Classified as "Historic Monuments" since 1957.
