Sevy told me a few days ago that the mood was in B&W, so.....
The Lyon airport is linked to the TGV station by a catwalk. When I used to fly to Lyon for business purpose, and that I had time before flight departure, I wandered in the station to find an interesting POV, and then waited for a human presence.
Dedicated to papera, a TE member queen of the B&W pictures.

your black and white presentation is excellent. the repeating patterns of light across the frame are very well spotted. i love the positioning of the two figures that are perfectly placed.

Another beautifully-composed shot. The B/W treatment works very well, and I'm glad you've "dedicated" it to Papera: she's in my favourites as well! It could be the scan (don't know if you used a dedicated film scanner or a flatbed), but it appears that there is a slight loss of sharpness across the image. What a picky old person I am!

nice framing by the shadows on the TGV station floor...really look like wings...good noticed with a high POV...the walking men add a human presence here...
good shot in B/W...

Sevy has reason...and Cris / Papera too!! ;)
B&W it works really well on good captures, as we can see here...A very good play of light of shadows of lines and forms...with the human presence giving dimmensions...And very well framed too on an elegant way... Good work!!
Have a nice week...

I personally like to see an image like this one. It is not an abstract image but the presence of a certain object, or in this case the light with two gentlemen, and how the image bring you back to a certain place and time fascinates me. I am sure that you have rediscovered something. Our memories have a tendency to transform the past reality, but a photograph like this remembers well that precise moment in your life. The sharpness is not the only issue; the blurred image has more to do with how we remember this past moment. The presented image is very interesting… at least for me.
With my very best regards,
Have a nice evening, Claude

Wonderful B&W composition, beautiful play with light and shadows, excellent POV with the two men nicely placed in the frame, the quality is not very good because it is an old scanned photo but I like it a lot!
Have a nice weekend, Vasilis.

Bien vu ce motif repetitif de lumiere et bonne composition avec les deux passants.
N&B bien adapte.
