Church and blue sky
Sacred architecture:
Church Martinmas ( IMH): hall of masonry in 5 bays(berries), square bell tower covered in pyramid. (Dates of construction 12th and 15th century). The church is situated on a mound.

Quelle lumière ! On devine une journée venteuse, à la forme des nuages... Les couleurs sont très saturées, mais restent assez naturelles. L'architecture est simple mais assez originale (on s'aperçoit bien, sur vos différentes contributions, de la grande variété de formes qui caractérisent finalement le style roman !). L'avant plan végétal cadre bien le sujet. Bien réalisé, une fois de plus !

A wonderful deep blue sky you got for this one, Philippe. It greatly enhances this uphill view of the old church, in which we can see the edifice well framed by the surrounding greenery. Amazing colors and good contrast, a great pleasure for the eye.

Bonjour Philippe, encore une belle architecture, bien mise en valeur. Personellement, j'aurais cadré un peu plus sur la droite, mais c'est un détail. Ton premier plan est judicieux, et nous mène à l'eglise puis au ciel. Spiritualité ?

Très belles couleurs saturées. Une composition très réussie avec la végétation au premier plan qui nous dirige vers l'église.

Bonjour Philippe,

The silhouette of the church and the tower against the specially sky, is very beautiful, the green vegetation on the foreground make the picture great. Again lovely of colours.

Nice compostion with great cloudy sky and church with a natural frame.

I think it's a bit too dark... but the darkness is also nice for the drama-effect.

For my own curiosity and for a suggestion, I'll try a lighter version. Hope you like it.

Ah, where do you find all these wonderful little churches, Philippe?? :-) I like here especially the composition and the dark colours, it reminds me somehow of Van Gogh paintings ...

Et vois surtout que tu ne nous n'arriveras pas à nous lasser des édifices religieux avec d'aussi belles images.

The angle here is very well chosen, to look up to this nice stone building and a really beautiful sky as a background. What I like too, are the four plumes in the right, funny !

Almost unreal colours. But I like the contrast between the deep blue and the deep green with light stonework of the church in the middle. A bit like a painting.And those clouds are very interesting to look at.

Ouf quel ciel! Et quel toit foncé, les couleurs de cette prise sont magnifiques, le cadrage me plaît, le fait de devoir lever les yeux est attrayant, puis c'est un bon exercice pour quand on est à l'intérieur!!! Bravo Philippe, c'est superbe. Claude

Elle donne l'impression d'être gentiment perchée cette belle église avec le POV choisi (et préparé:)) une petite butte, une tenue d'appareil en contre plongée et un cadrage au quart de poil pour avoir ce magnifique ciel. La ligne qui va de l'appareil au ciel passe par la pointe du corps de cette église. La composition est très réussie et l'image se consomme sans effort.

l'église d'Auver par Van Gogh voilà pour les références. j'applaudis des deux mains. Il me semble sentir une odeur de filtres sur ce travail mais chut ne dit rien il faut garder toute la magie. Chapeau bas.

Un ciel splendide avec cette dentelle de nuages et une lumière excellente pour cette église très simple. J'aime beaucoup le détail des joncs à droite qui, par leur inclination, révèlent le vent.

C'est une très belle composition Philippe. J'aime le rendu de la pierre avec cette belle lumière. Le ciel est également magnifique.

This is a different point of view than that of your other churches. I like the way you are looking up at this one giving the feel of traveling around a path slowly making your way up a hill. It also captures the church against this really amazing sky. The textures are incredible in the sky. It almost looks as if I could feel those clouds. It's like an amazing backdrop that you would have behind a model. The church presents itself between the bushes and trees just right in this spot. Another fine addition.

This is a nice church shot, with a strong color contrast.
The foreground is perfect and the sky is really deeply colored.
The point of view is increasing the size of the church.
