Photographer's Note

La vue classique de Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port , avec à droite le vieux pont qui enjambe la Nive et qui permet d'entrer dans la ville fortifiée par la porte ouverte dans la tour-clocher de l'Eglise Notre-Dame .

Vue classique , mais en général , les gens prennent la photo depuis le pont routier (voir WS) . Ici , je me suis déchaussé et ai mis les pieds dans la rivière pour avoir une vue légèrement différente . Si les reflets avaient été parfaits , ça aurait été encore mieux .

C'est une autre photo magnifique!
La qualité est parfaite: la netteté, la gestion de la lumière, les couleurs obtenues, les contrastes, le pdv choisi, le format horizontal, presque carré, l'encadrement noir & blanc et surtout la compo avec ce reflet-là sont excellents, chouettes!!!!

Depuis le pont, la photo n'est pas mal non plus mais ton point de vue plus bas donne plus la vedette aux très jolis reflets tremblotants. Une très belle photo.

Water always attracts me in every form so I chose this one even if the most recent ones are fine enough. But the reflections here make a great scene and that small bridge is a cosy subject.

This is a nice tranquil scene. The angle of the shot work well giving the scene a sense of direction. The reflection adds depth and balance for the scene. The bridge add a nice focal point for the shot. The lighting and colors are great and the photo has excellent sharpness.

tu as bien fait d'essayer ce point de vue que je trouve très beau,mais je ne peux comparer avec celui depuis le pont.Les couleurs et la lumière sont de toute beauté,et je ne suis pas sûre que ça aurait été mieux avec un reflet parfait,car j'adore l'aspect de ceui-ci.

je préfère ce point de vue avec cette belle perspective enjolivée pas ces très beaux reflets.

Pas facile de suivre ton rythme sur les routes du Pays-Basque... Comme tu dis la prise de vue au ras de l'eau change tout pour donner cette composition bien équilibrée impossible à obtenir de plus haut. En revanche j'aurais peut-être tenté un recadrage plus carré en rognant les balustrades un peu trop modernes des maisons de gauche? et pendant que j'y suis j'aurais aussi attendu que le petit train touristique est fini de traverser le pont!
