[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I took that picture in Cancale (Brittany, France), during a day when it was raining a lot. I was lucky that, after the rain the sun started to shine. It is generally at these moments when you have a dark grey sky and some sunshine that we can make great pictures. It was low tide and all the boats were just sitting on the sand. It is almost a monochrome black-and-white picture and the picture is just showing contrasts between dark and bright areas.

Beautifull photo, dramatic atmosphere.It's like the end of the world incoming.The reflection of the sun's rays in the wet sand create a good balance with the dark sky.Impresive photo.

Interesting picture with a very dramatic sky and vessel silhouettes. I think, however, that it is a bit dark.

Joli travail, j'aime bien cette tonalité, qui accompagne cette marée basse. On a l'impression que c'est la fin du monde alors que c'est juste la fin de la journée.
PS: C'est CancalE ... tu vas facher nos amis bretons !

il me plaît beaucoup de l'atmosfera de la photo et les diverses tonalités de couleur gris.

Very nice scenery. Very dramatic sky contrasting excellent with the sand.Great shot.

J'aime beaucoup cette atmosphère et les contrastes de lumière qu'elle apporte sur le sable. Composition intéressante avec les barges mytilicoles d'un côté, bateaux modernes aux formes uniquement pratiques, et les jolis bateaux de plaisance de l'autre. Belle profondeur aussi qui découpe la silhouette de la côte. Juste une petite réserve sur le cadre qui me semble un peu lourd (et je me demande si ça ne pencherait pas un peu à droite). Mais ça me plait beaucoup (et oui, c'est CancalE, j'ai beau ne pas être bretonne, ça fait drôle!).

A stunning scene, and the desaturation is haunting. Really an advert to take your camera everywhere, however unpromising it appears when you look out of the window in the morning.

Joli travail, j'aime beaucoup ce contre jour,par contre la mer me semble penchée un peu vers la droite mais sans débordement. J'aime bien ton image avec une petite réserve pour le cadre. Amicalement/jr

Très bonne ambiance ici, des couleurs assez inhabituelles mais très jolies. Un joli travail sur les gris et les reflets, tout ceci est très bien vu. Dommage que ça penche un peu...

Belle harmonie de gris, de noirs et de reflets argentés. Le ciel sombre laisse supposer un orage.
Une atmosphère particulière et bien rendue !
