Photographer's Note

After visiting the church of St. Denis, I came back to the center of Paris. Given the location, it is rare to find this particular café almost empty. It was during the hours between day and night. Everything was calm. I found myself alone outside the café. Before me , there were a few empty chairs, and they appeared to me like a small group of people enjoying the same peaceful moment as I was. The color was incredibly beautiful.

great night composition.I really like the POV you´ve chosen here.Putting the chairs in the foreground was a good idea and gave nice effect,as if we´d observed the place from a stand or a theater box.Very good exposition and lighting as well as good sharpness,makes we get a beautiful view on this place.

Completely deserted, the scene from the café is almost surrealistic in its atmosphere. A few empty chairs, colonnades, and the eerie light of the blue hour. The light management, composition and resolution all collaborate to create a memorable scene.

Hi Nobu,
The 5 chairs are scaling the image, and there is a good depth towards the far end of the pedestrian street.
A bit of bulbs-glare as 3.5F aperture allow this, but yet very unique ambiance well collected.

I like the atmosphere here with that golden color light falling on these empty chairs and you are sitting right behind and playing guessing game. I am sure whoever used the chairs must have been enjoying the peaceful moment or engaging in some interesting conversation.You have really captured the mood with sharpness and beautiful colors.
