The staircase Art Deco of the museum of the Fine arts of Nancy, realized by Jacques and Michel André (1930).

Occupying the former middle college of Medicine, the museum, amputee of its collections taken by duke François, future emperor of Austria, date of 1801.
He owes the wealth of his collections to inhabitants of Nancy, sponsors or collectors, who donated numerous works of art, as well as in the linen attribution and tapestries were used by the treaty of Lunéville (1801).

Il doit la richesse de ses collections aux nancéens, mécènes ou collectionneurs, qui firent don de nombreux objets d'art, ainsi qu'à l'attribution de toiles et tapisseries utilisées par le traité de Lunéville (1801).
