DETAIL OF THE ALEXANDRE III BRIDGE - PARIS

The ALEXANDRE III BRIDGE is a lush bridge, typical of the style of the French Third Republic, which crosses the Seine River passing through Paris and joins the esplanade of the Invalides to the monumental complex formed by the bridge, the Grand Palais and the Petit Palais.
It is the longest bridge in the city and is located between 7 and 8 Arrondissement.
The first stone of the bridge was laid in 1896 by Tsar Nicholas II of Russia and was inaugurated in 1900. The bridge was declared a historical monument in 1975.
