Photographer's Note

VIEW FROM THE TOWERS OF NOTRE DAME

In the picture I got the Latin Quarter with the Seine in the foreground. We can see the dome of the Pantheon in the background.

The LATIN QUARTER (in French, Quartier Latin) is a district of central Paris district covers the Vth and part of VIth arrondissements. Is around Sorbonne University, the Left Bank of the Seine.
The neighborhood takes its name from the Middle Ages students spoke Latin as a language teaching, this was the hallmark of the Parisian neighborhood where the population was predominantly student.
