Photographer's Note
The wide sandy beach of Colleville-sur-Mer is a very pleasant place now, to relax and enjoy the sea.
Still one cannot forget that this fine sand was the witness of terrible moments the morning of june 6th, 1944.

Yes, you have to think a little about what happened here 60 odd years ago when you see such a calm, pleasant scene. Nice repetition with the sand and water, and the people/dog through the shot. Good light. Chris

it is hard to imagine what happened here, how many soldiers died in the gunfire... to free europe!
It looks so peaceful now.Composition with the people included give a good feeling about the size of the beach, good work!

Hi Stefano
You're an artist to get 4 subjects on the same diagonal line! Nice hues of the sea ponds and sand.

Hello Stefano,
Yes, difficult to imagine the fights of 1944 when seeing this quiet beach.
I feel you can go more to square shape frame to cut a bit of the bottom and the left to place the dog and the people closer to the diagonale.
Yves.

Ciao Stefano!

Ciao Stefano
Beach at ebb tide is beautifully caught with a nice framing, the dog is expertly put in the best place. I like this subdued tonality. Beautiful work!
Best wishes, Hisashi

Hi Stefano
A beautiful picture with these pastel colors. The softness of the shapes and the sobriety of this duo of colors, induce, along with a clever framing, an attractive graphical impact. It is funny how the silhouettes appear in a diagonal line, crossing the other remarkable one, created by the water marks on the beach.
Congratulations
