Photographer’s Note
picture was taken from normal route to Mount Blanc. Weather was changing. I made 5 or 6 frames and each one was different. I like it very much. It's like the castle in the clouds for me. Actually this is station for cable-car on Aiguille du Midi 3842 m. You can get on the top by using lift.

Vertigo! The clouds split the picture into two parts. Above it we see the top of the mountains and the blue blue sky, and beneath it, the lower part of the mountain, down to earth, the place where we can put our feet on.
This gives me a feeling of height and distance.
Very nice picture, and what a place to be!

The western face of the Needle of the South is seldom photographed. You were be located somewhere in suspension by climbing the White Mount. I like very well the clouds which surround the subject, it is a good composition. and I would have appreciate some words in comment.

What a strange view. But interesting, of course. The might of the peak is sensible, and evenmore with clouds surrounding it. Good job, really.
