Yes, there are many 'supposed-to-be' prettiest villages of France, are there not? But the fact remains that so many are truly beautiful. And clearly, this one must also be a beauty, if judged by this fine old church, the details of which are so superbly captured in your photo. I think your composition is excellent, and I especially like the way the path mounts the steps before curving away behind the church. The flowers and the green bushes make a nice balance to the great amount of brick-work and Summer light.

What a pitty!! I am sure this one was a beautiful romanesque church... but now its ruins, its old ruins are also beautiful. Beautiful but ruins.
