Photographer’s Note
These people were trekking across the sands near Le-Mont-Saint- Michel on a wet and windy fall day. The sands surrounding the Abby at low tide are reputedly dangerous with quicksands and rapidly rising water :- to be attempted only with a guide.

I quite like the concept of this one with the string of people leading the eye to the island. I think the appearance of tilt is as much perception as reality. An adjustment to levels may help to give the picture a bit more punch.

Intersting thumbnail and even more interesting note and picture. Little crooked but still I like it. Thankyou for sharing.

Bonjour Hugh - This interesting picture could have been even better after correction of the level, it looks like you got a tilt to the right. And then I was wondering how it would have looked when cropped just under the rocks as the dark island doesn't add much value to the picture now.
Thank you for having made the correction on the region but it should be: Le Mont-Saint-Michel [In the window for city on Edit page] rather than: Mont St Michel. This to prevent a double inscription of the same place.

PS: If you hesitate about spelling or location in France, please check Quid - Villes & Villages de France.
* Rule: For a better presentation of the list of locations and to make research easier, it would be nice to write the names in small letters, beginning with a capital, connecting nouns with "-" except after Le, La, Les, or d' and not using any abbreviation (St > Saint).
