Photographer’s Note

A group of tourists boarding a horse and carriage or caleche for a guided tour round La Rochelle. Tours are organised by the Tourist Office in La Rochelle, very enjoyable though not many photo opportunities en route.

au premier plan cette caleche avec son cheval comme moyen de transport pour faire visiter, il n'y a pas photo avec la voiture , c'est superbe ce moyen de locomotion qui revient dans certaines villes en période estivale ou aux fêtes de noel

Hi Stephen,
A very pleasant picture of this happy man and his dog. They are really the centre of this photo and maybe you could have cropped the photo to concentrate on those two. I´ll refrain from a WS but I think you can have a look at this possibilty. I really like this part of the photo, he sits here like he is all alone and nothing around him actually happens!

Cadrage idéal sur le maître et son chien, le reste étant uniquement suggéré. J'aime le contraste bien rendu entre l'atitude calme et paisible de l'homme te l'air plus tendu et plus attentif du chien. Une image pleine de vie.
