Photographer’s Note

Less known than the towers, but equally remarkable, the genoese bridges are an important component of the Corsican patrimony. They were built mostly during the XV & XVIth centuries by the republic of Genua to develop the economy and encourage exchanges between communities.
Masterpieces of technicity, their beautiful arches cross the rivers of Corsica with great elegance.

The photo displays the bridge near Calacuccia (or at least I think it's that one, please correct me if I'm wrong) in the Niolu region of central Corsica.
