Photographer’s Note
Not far from Camaret sur Mer, on the Crozon peninsula, lies the small port of Le Fręt.
Several old fishing boats lie just above the high tide line awaiting their ultimate fate.
A dull day without much sun.

Hi Peter,
This must have been an irresistible motive for any photographer! The boat here has definitely seen its best days, but it can still provide some very attractive colours. I like this picture, but I´m afraid I cannot make such a fine WS that you have done for me. I can appreciate the good depth in the picture with the row of houses far away in the background.
I think this must be a very pleasant place, we have never been so far out on the tip of Brittany, we used to stay at Erquy. However, my own idea of enjoying this part of France is to eat as many oysters as possible, I hope you also enjoy them!
Kind regards
Gunnar

Hello Peter,
this is an interesting expressive photo. I won't analyze it the way you did to some photos, though :) I will simply say that the shot was really well taken! I also like its very special colour gamma. The boat looks.... incredible! like an old and forgotten (and maybe seriously ill?) living being..
Best wishes from Moscow,
Elena
