Photographer’s Note
Paris, the eifel tower, 12th August 2004.
A little bit of rain (massive sheets of rain) causes people to run for cover,
There was a man selling ice creams protected from the rain who as everyone walked around in the heavy rain started shouting Icecreams! in a loud voice and laughing

This is a nice picture, a great composition with a lot of action. I like to see the Eifel Tower on this way. But maybe you should crop a little bit of the bottum? Anyway, great picture!

A new face of Eifel Tower. If you crop the bottom, it could be a good panorama-style picture.

I really like such "action shots" like this one. You can see what's going on and it feels a bit like you were there yourself. You see people running, others sitting on their bench under an umbrella (although it does not look like this small umbrella could be very helpful) and even the three policemen only aim at finding a place where they stay dry ;) Maybe the quality is not perfect but therefore the place and story is even more interesting.
P.S.: I just had to click on this photo when I saw it as almost exactly the same situation happened to us last night when we were sitting in a beergarden and it suddenly started to rain heavily and then it even started to hail!
