Photographer’s Note
The Eglise des Jacobins, the mother church of the order of Dominican friars. Construction began soon after St Dominic founded the order in 1215 to preach church doctrine to the heretical Cathars and it took 170 years to complete. St Thomas Aquinas (1225-74), early head of the Dominican order, is buried here.
In this shot, I have taken advantage of a large mirror on the ground around a central pillar to photograph a side chapel.

Hi Chris,
You captured the image nicely. The architecture is also interesting and reflection looking more beautiful. Congrats.

HI Chris,
Very nice pov and reflection, first I was wondering if there was a water fountain around the column, I see it's a mirror, unusual and offering a great photo opportunity you did not miss
Have a nice day JY

Hallo Chris, the idea to use the mirror is very good.
Nice shot, regards Alex

Excellent shot, Chris.
The composition is superb, with both depth and extreme clarity, as well as that novel reflection, that I was sure must be water. I like the way the perspective takes the eye from the foreground column to the windows at the rear. A marvellous picture of stillness. I must admit that although I visited Toulouse recently I didn't get to visit this church.
Regards,
Andrew
