Fishing girls or fishing girls - make your choice.
3 girls out there at the quay fishing is not to be seen everyday, neither in Collioure. But I like this moment from Nov. last year.
I will tomorrow go down again to this fine little village in the South of France, close to the Spanish border. Only for a week this time

I agree -- this is a delightful and unusual shot. I like its arrangement, the colors and the way, despite the evident cold, the girls look very absorbed. They appear to have been unaware of being photographed -- a real plus. Have a good week.

La pêche est un bon moyen de laisser vagabonder son esprit et de se relaxer !

Hi Jack, How nice to see you here again. Fishing girls - it is unusual. Fishing seems a men's pleasure. Nice scene. Have they caught something? Simple but very pleasant shot.

Nice this new upload from you, Jack. Good use of the zoom to show the three girls being more or less focused on their fishing activities. Nice subdued surroundings with the brick wall around the port. Have a good weekend.

L'idée et la présentation sont très bonne. J'aime bien ces briques brunes qui donnent du contraste à l'image !

Hello Jack,

The subdued and more uniform light, I believe, is frequently preferable to direct sunlight which creates harsh contrasts in light and shadows. I like this shot taken last November, revealing not only the activity of the young damsels, but the colors and textures of the stonework. There is obviously iron in the rocks, judging by the rust.
