Photographer’s Note

Hello with you all, a small walk in the small marina of Brando, a sight of the interior towards the sea, to show you that the lane finished straightforwardly in water, small wink with Said (combined DIDI) who worried about knowing how to make when there is a storm, and well that must be rather impressive I suppose. Basic adjustments on PS, with an increase in the luminosity, and contrast. Friendship to all of you.

I like this perspective and once again it reminds me Sicily, particularly the amazing fishermen village of Torre Faro (I posted some pictures of this place). My eye is nicely led into the deep blue between two narrow walls and also if that one on the left is a bit overexposed (impossible to avoid it, I Think, for the sun light)we can admire a lot of details. The lamp gives the final touch. I imagine the pleasure of reading a book sit on the step in the shade.

Very beautiful this view along the small path into this blue sea. Good composition to show details in the foreground. Gives me the feeling to stand there and look into the sea. Very well done.

What a beautiful lane,ended to the sea,very well captured(well seen) and very nicely composed,with a semi rural,old atmosphere,and lamp-post on the wall is very interesting here in this combination of elements,You did great,Martine.

COUCOU c'est moi le nounours comment vas-tu Pimprenelle??? ;-)))
Wahou la bonne maitrise de l'exposition ici avec des zones sombres trés bien eclairées, pour le ciel c'est le prix a payer pour avoir une bonne moyenne dans la mesure de la lumiere ici.
PS= trés bon endroit pour pecher le "Denti" ici je connais bien le coin merci de cette petite visite dans notre cher Cap...TIent allé point de suite parceque c'est toi hein...;-))) Le bonjours chez toi Martine Ciao

Bonsoir Martine, chez toi c'est vraiment toujours les vavances. Ton image est belle,la mer est splendide avec cette ruelle qui nous guide directement vers elle. Les murs des maisons à gauche légèrement surexposés par l'ensoleillement qui doit être fort. Bravo. Amitié/jr

Hello Martine. Another pretty view from Brando, with an original use of the residential buildings to frame the view out towards the sea. Not easy to handle the exposure well in such a situation, but it looks to me like you really found a fine balance. The post-work on contrast and luminosity came out very well.

Pas facile ce genre de photo avec la moitié de l'image qui baigne dans la lumière et l'autre dans l'obscurité. Je crois que tu as bien réussi dans ces conditions. La perspective est interessante ici et je trouve l'endroit bien spécial. Merci.

Great opening to the sea with lovely details at both sides, Martine! The gradually changing light in depth straightens the effective composition. Fine colours too. Excellent job again!

Un beau cadrage serré pour nous présenter cette magnifique océan bleu. De beaux détails architecturaux de chaque côté, peut-être un petit ajustement supplémentaire du ciel aurait été bénifique, très bien Martine, bravo.

A well framed shot, Martine. I like the way the steps lead us down to the beautiful blue sea and how the street light breaks the horizon. Good detail in the brickwork and great lighting. Well seen and captured.

Bonjour Martine, pas facile de trouver le bon equilibre des lumieres et des contrastes dans ce type de composition. Tu as d'une part la rue qui est assez sombre et le ciel qui est lui tres lumineux. Le capteur a du mal a s'y retrouver!
La solution: venir tres tot le matin ou en fin de journee pour avoir des lumiers plus douces, plus chaleureuses. Cela permet egarlement de rehausser les contrastes en apportant un peu de relief et d'ombres sur la pierre.

Bonjour Martine, joli cadrage, cette belle ruelle ouvre sur l'infini marin, attention a ne pas glisser, sinon plouf !
Pas facile ici de trouver un juste milieu entre l'ombre de droite et la forte lumiere de gauche, je pense que ton compromis est tres bon.

Les écarts de luminosités sont importants et les détails sont pourtant là dans les ombres avec toutefois un peu de surex pour les murs sous le soleil. Il y a une belle harmonie de bleus que tu peux corriger avec la balance des blancs si elle est involontaire .

Right you are, I wouldn't hesitate to capture this nice view, difficult with the hard sun but still good texture in the highlights. Try once with a dubbelshot, one underexposed, a way to simulate the contrast capacity of the eye.

kikou ma-tibou !! je ne sais laqu'elle choisir...le chemin qui méne au bord de l'eau dans un environnement de rêve...ou la vue sur la mer avec ses bateaux qui flottent en toute tranquilite...les 2 sont très belles et bien rendues dans l'athmosphère que tu veux nous faire ressentir...merci pour ce calme et ce partage...amités BI

Encore une belle image de ce beau pays.
Attentions aux écarts de luminosités entre les ombres et lumières.
Si vous privilégiez les ombres n'hésitez pas à réduire l'exposition de -1/3.
Merci pour le clin d'oeil et n'hésitez pas à photographier par mauvais temps bien sûr sans prendre de risques.

bonne perspective avec un debouche sur la mer, bon placement des details d'architecture. Comme photo culturelle c'est tres bien, on desire s'y rendre et le voir par soi meme.

Joli cadrage avec cette ruelle qui nous emmène jusqu'à la mer éclatante d'un bleu intense. Bonn exposition, les détails ressortent bien que ce soit à l'ombre ou en pleine lumière. bravo.

This offers a nice walk right into the sea. The contrast was well handled. Not too under exposed or over exposed. The brick and stucco textures are really nicely seen. And it's a good perspective. I don't know about the framing with the triangle of black at bottom and left. Was it the result of rotating? Perhaps cropping it out completely would improve the view. The sea is a beautiful blue, though and the horizon well placed.

Effectivement je m'aperçois que vous produisez souvent des compositions soignées et agréables. Plutôt débutant dans le domaine, c'est mon intuition qui me dit si je dois complimenter ou m'abstenir, alors, ce betit bout de ruelle qui tombe dans l'eau bleue de corse, c'est plus que joli.Les murs sont éclairés par la réverberation et l'ensemble est très net.
C'est un endroit où l'on aimerait passer..

Une bien jolie ruelle ou venelle (c'est selon) qui nous mène droit à la mer.
J'aime ces vieilles maisons éclaboussées de lumière qui ont su garder leur charme d'antan.

j'aime cette prise de vue entre les murs, cela donne l'impression de liberté et d'évasion, bien vu !! le bleu de l'eau est superbe, as tu utilisé un filtre?
