Photographer’s Note
Well there are pyramids and pyramids of steel and glass ......the latter have a reflective quality and the former give you cause to reflect.....surface and substance ....design and cultural integrity........
.....but now what of cultural innovation......of challenging the vision, the expectations which eventually breed mediocrity - contextual innovation is at work in bucket loads here - what was a place of kings is still a respectful place of kings and their consorts but also stunningly accessible as an aesthetic playground of the common man.

Ah, yes, the wonderful reflective Pyramid at the Louvre, which first was a shock to the eye and now has become part of the scene, an expected entrance to wonders. I am very fond of reflections, and this one in b&w is exceptional

Hi Kev,
This is a good image to make us stop and think...
What I see here: new appearences seem to be there to cut what is old, what comes from the past. But in reality, it is reflecting, it is reproducing, it is cloning what is "déjá vu".
I like a lot how you played with geometric and classical/not classical forms.
Bravo!

Kev

Hi Kev,
Nice graphical display with the reflections in the glass. The black and white works well here! I like this shot, because it is so differently from normal shots of the Louvre pyramid. But that makes it nice.

Hello Kev,
That's an excellent shot and a very good Black & White picture. I like all those details, the reflection, but i would have avoid to take this man on the right to keep purity of lines. Details are really incredible here.
Regards, Eric.

Hi Kev
I love all the angles and reflections seen here. Probably one of the best I have seen in fact. I like the choice to go B&W. Interesting architecture. Well seen and captured!
I will be back to your site.
Take care,
Tosca

Excellent reflection shot, and especially nice conversion, this is really like two worlds in one...
