Photographer’s Note
Polo Club from Chantilly domain
In 1995, the land of the farm Apremont became available. A group of friends who dreamed of opening in France for a large polo obtained from the Institute de France, a lease of 50 years to create the Polo Club du Domaine de Chantilly. The Club is organized as a limited company run by a group of investors riders determined to run a leisure activity with the rules of rigor and quality necessary for the success of any business.
Apremont land ideal for introducing polo fields and grass had already been chosen by Baron Robert de Rothschild in 1920 brought together the polo world league in the capital of the thoroughbred. A cavalier spirit, relaxed, continues to flourish in the countryside near Paris. The level of polo is constantly improving, thanks to the biggest players in the world, attracted by our competitions that serve as a model and example, and allow our Club to participate in the progress and development of English polo.
The French team, including some of the players comes from the Department of Oise, training here before going to gather laurels in Rome and Santiago de Chile and show his talent in Buenos Aires, Amsterdam and receive Foreign formations such as Brazil.
Since 1995, each year saw the number and improve the quality of our horses and our pastures are no longer sufficient to requests we receive to house the horses of our players, which allowed us to engage our neighbors farmers development our economic activity. Thanks to the sound and dynamics of our team and our dedicated staff (from 2 to 14 people). In 2004, the club took on the challenge of organizing the World Championship Polo. All matches take place on 9 of the farm land.

Bonsoir Olivier,
