Photographer’s Note
After looking at Denis Texier's recent images of this place, I decided to look through my photographs taken here last summer to see if I could find another picture.
Taken not far from the same spot as my last posting, but using a longer focal length, the tower of the church at Billiers stands out against the summer sky.

Taken as JPEG: PP in PhotoShop 7 and FastStone.

Hi Peter,
The first thing I notice here is that the church tower resembles a lighthouse very much, but that is maybe the intention here. Apart from that, this is a well balanced picture and I you have a very good capture of the clouds, something I know from own experience can be quite difficult. Good colours and a beautiful place. How were the oysters here?
Kind regards

Hello Peter, this well composed picture as a painterly quality too it. The colours and light are very nice. I like the dark splash created by the trees. The old fence breaks up the foreground perfectly.

Hello Peter,
A typical French village picture, you can find a lot the same village, but all with a other church tower
The quiet environment care for an excellent composition.
Splendid presentation and lovely colours.
Very well done, TFS.
Best regards,
John
