Photographer’s Note
Of course Paris has a reputation for being a romantic city so in honour of that accolade I post this one from my wind down end to my evening on the Champs Elysees. I ended up in an Irish bar amongst the convivial company of Pascal, the owner, and a nice bunch of internationals including Pascal's American partner - a photographic model and singer - at some point in the early hours she spontaneously turned to him and kissed him.......and he seemed such a happy man! I really enjoyed my evening (well early morning actually) with them all before staggering next door to my hotel!!
There can't be so many irishmen with the name of Pascal!
Visit Carr's - a nice pub and good food!

Bonsoir Kev
Une belle image, j'apprécie surtout l'éclairage très ponctuel sur les visages et qui maintient le fond dans le noir.
Bonne soirée

love the scene ... tenderness ... his expression. The light also creates an intimacy ... A great one.

Tender, romantic and beautiful...
I like it a lot...
But I think that Paris is more romantic for tourists, and also...thanks to tourists :oO !!!
Best regards. Grazyna.

Hi Kevin,
That's a happy face, a happy man...
Superb use of the low light capacities of your 5D.

Hello Kev,
A wonderful story and a wonderfully personal photograph you got there. Very nice light captured as well.
It was worth waiting to wait for the photo to open. I'm in Uganda for a small week and the internet is insanely slow ;-).
Greetings, Dennis

I love it. Looks like a still from a theatrical play. I am not mentioning cinema on purpose. The intimacy is so tender that it can only be a play... actors in flesh and blood. The light is amazing. Nobody beats your interior photography skills. But his face... His look... His soul. It's one of the best portraits I have seen lately.

What can I say ? Such grace, such light, such tenderness. His expression goes straight to the heart, the whole fills one with warmth. Love the shining bits on her sweater, the earring. Intimate and enticing work.
