Photographer's Note

Good Morning Everyone,

Please click on Croisic Harbour to enjoy this photograph much bigger and sharper. It is so worth the effort.

This is the pretty fishing port of Croisic.
The name comes from the Breton name meaning 'small cross' or 'small shore'.

The port is important and has been important in the town's development: fishing, anchorage and distribution of salt from the nearby marshes all played their part.

Today, because of its obvious history, its seafood, its attractive, characterful buildings and beaches, it is a popular holiday destination.
There are flower baskets oozing with plants to add a little more pizzazz to the area.

We enjoyed sitting at a street cafe and just watching the world go by!

Have a lovely day, Bev :-)
