Photographer’s Note

Third in a short series of pictures taken on the Bus de Mer or water taxi in La Rochelle.

The Bus de Mer runs between the Minimes yacht marina and the Vieux Port in La Rochelle. The crossing time is 15 to 20 minutes and at 1.30€ each way, I reckon it's a bargain. The boats run every day between April and September and on weekends and bank holidays only outside this period. Frequency varies according to the time of year, timings can be consulted on the La Rochelle Tourist Office web site.

Un format vertical et un POV bine chois pour donner cette impression de départ vers une immensité. L'avant-plan riche ne détails bien captés et aux belles couleurs ouvre une intéressante perspective vers le BG où les voiles apportent rythme et dynamisme.

Le choix de format vertical est très convenable pour ce type de vue, qui montre le calme de la mer et des voiliers, et les remous rageurs de la mer dérangée par les hélices. C'est bien vu, très bonne réalisation. Bravo.

Beaucoup de monde sur l'eau, c'est vrai. Le sillage du bus de mer nous guide droit sur eux. Les couleurs de l'eau brassée sont agréables. J'aurais peut-être enlevé une partie du ciel qui est vide ;o)
Mais c'est beau mon Ami !

Un bon bol d'air marin, j'aime le remous de l'eau que donne les hélices, un contraste avec la mer calme avec le fond peupler de petit bateaux, belle réalisation
