Photographer's Note

Saint-Quantin-de-Rançanne is a French commune, located in the department of Charente-Maritime and the region of Poitou-Charentes. Its inhabitants, of which there were 263 in 2007, are called Saint-Quantinois / Saint-Quantinoises.

A small but picturesque village, the population has declined steadily since the first recorded census in 1793, some four years after the French Revolution, when it stood at 658.

The road adds good lead in lines & perspective & the yellow green grass contrasts well against the blue sky. Good sharpness & the pampas grass both left & right frames the scene nicely. Tfs!
