Photographer’s Note

One likes or one does not like the signs... but, here on this end of walk dominating the marina of Royan where it is good to walk to the sun (even a day of November) I found that they were well integrated from the point of view created by the shades for the barrier and the alignment of the trees while also bringing colors... a balanced unit which encouraged me to take this photo.

Bonjour Jean,
Certainly the signs here are a relevant role!
The promenade are dominated by the colours and lettering of the signs.
I like your POV and the scene caught with the couple of walkers.

mais que veux tui, dans les endroits touristiques, il y a toujours surenchères d'affichages plus ou moins esthetiques...
sont ils utiles?

Hi Jean,

Nice effects of the shadows in the sidewalk. Good angle, capturing all the signs in different depths. Very good urban capture with nice colors and great details.

une photo simple mais a y regarder de plus prés, trés bien composé, les perspectives des arbres, des ombres, de la barrière, et de panneaux qui convergent vers les bancs blancs en fond semblent donner la direction à ce couple, la lumiére est excellente et les couleurs naturelles, du beau travail

Hello! I find the perspective here quite attractive. The walkway is lit with shadows creating mighty fine line, the trees are neatly arranged and pruned in rows, and the signs are not at all bothersome but adds interest to the scene. Regards!

Bonjour Jean,

A very good perspective-composition with the orthogonals all converging on the horizon line. The bright red jacket of the woman adds a good highlight to the image, and the vertical signs on the right are critical — inviting the viewer to read them. I like this picture very much, Jean,

On aime ou on aime pas mais en tous les cas ça apporte de la couleur à la photo et l'effet souhaité est réussi. La bonne exposition donne une belle perspective avec l'ombre des rambardes portée au sol. Joli travail photographique, bien vu Jean.

Belle photo de ces gens qui se promènent sur ce damier créé par ces ombres de la barrière. Les enseignes, c' est vrai, on aime ou on n' aime pas, mais n' oublions pas que pour certaines, elle sont créées par de véritables artistes.Belle profondeur de champ.
