Corderie royale (royal rope factory), Rochefort-sur-Mer, district of Charente-Maritime.
Beginning of a series on making the flow of Hermione and her first release on the Charente.
Last moments of calm in the Royal rope Factory before the influx of thousands of curious, attending the first output of the Hermione on the Charente river.
At the heart of the arsenal of Rochefort-sur-Mer, the Royal rope Factory aligns its impressive dimensions (374 meters long). The building owes its length to its function: the realization of the ropes for the Royal Navy.
The Royal rope Factory is the most impressive monuments of Rochefort-sur-Mer. It now houses the Maritime Museum. Next door, two dry docks, one of which houses the construction of Hermione.

I like this well laid out and harmonious composition. There is a good balance between the three major features: the interesting old house on the left, the magnificent tree and the lawn. The girl in red and the small group of people on the right add life and a sense of movement. Judging from earlier photos of yours you have a good sense of composition with few ingredients.

Bon cadrage avec cet alignement du bâtiment et cet imposant et superbe arbre. La présence humaine en rouge fait un bon détail qui accroche le regard, c'est bien fait.

A beautiful building surrounded by green, which was perfectly captured in the picture! The colors are wonderful, especially with the inclusion of that person with red clothes standing out in the image! Beautiful job!

Love exploring all the detail in the image, a colourful sight and a pleasing composition with splashed of vivid red boosting the visual effect nicely. The natural green framing on the right superbly sett off by old architecture to the left. A coo shot and peaceful well shot and presented. Well done, Congrats.
