Hi Stephen,
The undulating red tiled roof which also contrasts well against the blue sky, gives this a slightly Spanish or Mexican look & feel. Good sharpness & the French flags add context. Bon weekend!

Bonjour Stephen,
Avec le préau et le tilleul, on se croirait dans une cour d'école. Très belle image de la mairie, et des symboles de l'autorité dont on a bien besoin. La qualité, de la lumière, des couleurs, de la netteté, est excellente. Bravo.
Bonne journée.
Amicalement

Hello Stephen,
The light in your shot is really effective, highlighting the facade of the marie and casting long shadows from l to r across the frame.
Great positioning uses the tree for f/g interest and to give a sense of depth to the shot. Good dof.
Have a good w/e,
Bev :-)

ciao Stephen,
mi piace l'ottima inquadratura che hai trovato per presentare il piccolo municipio.
Perfetto l'inserimento dell'albero in FG e la luce che diventa componente fondamentale in questa fotografia,
saluti

Hello Stephen, the long shadows and muted colours of the building are easy on the eye,the splash of red in the flag gives the picture a nice lft.
I also enjoy the tree as a frame.

Hello Stephen.
Very nice photo of this humble, little mairie. It could be a farmhouse without the sign and flags. You got the perfect viewpoint here, using the tree superbly to frame the building and add depth. I like the autumnal light and the long shadows. A very pleasing evocation of a quiet mood.
Regards,
Andrew

Hello Stephen, This is an excellent shot of this building. The tree in the foreground lends itself as a partial frame for the shot. The building looks similar to our rural admininistrative buildings. Simpl constructed and serves a purpose for the user. Finally, the presence of flags always seems to lend some ambiance to a picture as it does here. good job Regards, Roger

Hi Stephen,
The distance between the tree and the building is giving depth to the composition. The point of view is showing the details and colors of the architecture of the city hall of Polignac. The afternoon light is enhancing the beauty of the colors. Have a nice day.
