Photographer’s Note
Guignol is a very old and a famous puppet show for children ; a lot of people (if not almost everybody) in France have seen at least one Guignol show in his/her childhood. The costumes and dialogues are inspired from Comedia del'Arte and did not changed that much since its creation, but kiddies (and adults) still love it and still shout when the puppet ask for :)
This show is part of xmas festivities in my little city of Niort, France.
ISO 100
PS: cropped, brightness+/contrast+, and ugly blue lights on the top cloned out.
I couldn't avoid those disturbing spotlights, sorry...

I like the silhouttes of the people in your photo. The soft natural light is also very appealing. I took the liberty of trying a workshop on your photo to increase the contrast between the silhouettes and the brighter parts of your photo.

Well enlighted and nicely framed image.
This is a very nice shot aiming the TE theme very well, because what can be more typical of France as Guignol?
I was born near Lyon and I was raised with Guignol, Madelon et Gnafron, even if it was meant more for the grown up... ;o)

A good shot taken in difficult lighting. The silhouttes really add to the atmosphere of the shot. Interesting note - I like the idea of the adults enjoying the puppet show as much as the kiddies.

Lovely pic. Gives a feeling as one of the audience. How about a little motion blur on the main puppet :) ?
cheers

Good atmosphere. I like the feeling that this picture gives. Almost as if we are there watching the show with the people.
