A child playing on the beach of Châtelaillon-Plage between barriers retaining the sand gave me the sensation that he had just escaped from his prison.

oh i'm sure Gert and Claude will enjoy this photo :)
and you know what, so do i!
its smart of you to include the two open sides of the gate - i think if you left them out it would change the entire dynamic of the scene.
excellent Title and motif.

Bonsoir Jean Jacques,
a wonderful composition and concept, a very appealing image. I love the depth and the soft colours, the pleasant dynamism of the diagonals, the sense of movement and the joy the image conveys. The little boy is superbly placed in the composition and we can't resist following his decisive movement. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a great evening,

Hi Jean Jacques,
He is having such fun, it is amazing how children can entertain themselves with not much. He is framed well by the fence posts. Funny your idea about him escaping from his prison :-)

We have a pretty similar theme today. Little boy in action on the beach. Opening on that fence is like a gate to seaside adventures.

Great shot and perfect timing. I can put myself easily in this kids position, I remember when I used to run like an aeroplane on the beach. This capture has a brilliant innocence to it along with bright cheerful colour and a great composition.

Au vu de la date de la photo, il était peut-être tout simplement heureux d'être en vacances, 15 jours, sans école, à Pâques, ça se fête ! Le cadrage et la netteté sont parfaits.

Hello Jean Jacques,
a summer image for sure. Love the joyfulness of the boy's movement. The boy is n icely placed in the frame and I like the contrast between his bright clothes and the pastels of sea and sand. Nice light.

Cela pourrait ressembler à la fin des classes. Le jeune semble tellement heureux qu'il est prêt à s'envoler . Un très beau moment superbement capté.

carefree days eh! Remember doing this as a kid on UK beach holidays. Strange I am sure the summers were better then, but expect we only remember the good days and not the rainy ones. Wonderfully expressive capture.

a feeling of feel free and you presented it so nicely... The opening... the nicely positioned boy in the frame depicted the mood... Excellent composition... Thanks for sharing.

fantastic title that supports and lifts your super shot.love the composition and the idea.great body language and gestures on the boy.what makes the pic special and complete for me is the presence of the barricades on 2 sides.

What I love here is the youthful energy and the innocent of the child, as if pretending to fly like I used to do as a child, pretend I'm a bird flying with my arms stretched out.
