An "old" picture, made tow years ago : it is one of the first pictures I made with a reflex, and in the beautiful swamps along the river Charente.
As often in autumn, the fields are flooded by the Charente, and the water comes so far it doesn't decrease at low tide.
This is also the time we can see big birds flocks fishing in the fields.

Hmm, where's the fog?
The birds are really nice here, Aline, flying toward the sun--maybe they will be sucked in like Icarus. The exposure is ideal, a bit moody from the combination of dark light and twinkling water. The only unfortunate thing is that you have jet contrails instead of real clouds. But that is reality, of course. Regards, Ken.

This is a very romantic picture with interesting colors and composition. The exposition is perfect, the sun is not too bright, and the other details are captured with enough brightness to give a special mood. Well done!

Hi Aline, the light is excellent in this shot, and the elements (birds, broken fence) work together to create a memorable image with a somewhat melancholy mood. Very evocative. Well done!

A beautiful shot taken into the sun. You and your camera did a great job of the exposure in this picture. There's still so much blue sky and detail in the water in front of the sun. Nicely timed to catch the birds so sharply, too. It's a beautiful autumn shot, and I don't know why you kept it hidden for so long.
