Photographer’s Note

Small picturesque port having preserved its authenticity, the Pivot on Sea plunges you in a family atmosphere. Located on the low coasts which border the Poitevin Marsh with the mouth of Lay, the Pivot on Sea is the seaside resort more in the South of the Department, near to Charente Maritime which one can see the Bridge of the Island of D. Its fishing port remained typical with its piers and its piles out of wooden, is famous for its multiple activities (ostreiculture and mytiliculture); Its 3 water levels make it possible the ones to quietly enjoy the pleasures of the bathe and bronzing and with the others to devote itself to the water sports and fishing. The Point of the Pivot on Sea, classified Ornithological Reserve, with its stone dam which is stretched on 5 km, its beaches and its cycle track, is a medium favourable with the walk, like the observation of the migratory birds. The restaurants offer all the diversity of fish and the seafood specialities to you, forgetting the Queen of the Pivot, "the Mussel of Mussel bed" and the sovereign one, "the Oyster the Vendée Atlantique", which are with best of their savour in summer

The boat looks as if it has been abandoned amongst all the poles in the sand. The splash of red and the reflections are both eye-catchers here. I like the detail of the birds on the poles.

Bonsoir Gilbert,
Belle image à marée basse, il ne manque que l'odeur de l'océan. Un bon format vertical agrémenté de couleurs et de mouettes sympathiques. Tout est bon, sauf que l'Aiguillon-sur-Mer est en vendée, dans les Pays de la Loire. Historiquement la vendée est en Poitou, mais pas administrativement. Bonne soirée.

Bonjour Gilbert.
La photo et la note qui l'accompagne sont des plus intéressantes. J'aime cette composition avec le bateau qui attend la marée. Les grandes perches et le bateau font des reflets dans l'eau. Les oiseaux semblent être les gardiens des lieux.

Bonjour Gilbert,

Pas difficile d'accrocher sur celle-ci, avec un cadrage imaginatif, un bateau mis en scène de façon innatendu et avec une réflection distincte et complète. Les billots où trônent des mouettes, placées comme des girouettes sont particuliers et apportent un intérêt supplémentaire à l'image.

La ligne rouge n'est pas étrangère au pouvoir d'attraction de cette photo.

C'est une photo très belle!
Le format vertical et le point de vue ont été très bien choisis et la composition est vraiment chouette: j'adore la manière selon laquelle tu as mis tous les éléments présents - le bateau, les perches, les goélands, l'eau et les reflets, le plantes vertes et le ciel, enfin, tout est parfaitement placé dans l'image et le résultat visuel est très agréable!

Une belle série d"Aiguillon"s à l'arrière de ce bateau effectivement... Très belle lumière pour mettre en valeur ce bateau en câle sèche attendant la montée des eaux. Une composition agréable et bien équilibrée, j'aime bien les mouettes en équilibre sur les perches. Belle photo et merci pour la note alléchante qui donne envie de faire un petit tour dans cette région.

Si tu as poussé jusque chez les ventres à choux tu peux aussi venir voir ce qui se passe du côté d'Orléans.
Le bateau je l'avoue on dirait un modèle réduit.
J'étais moins inspiré par ici il y a deux ans because le temps était gris.
