Pornic (Pornic en gallo et Pornizh en breton) est une commune française, située dans le département Loire-Atlantique et dans la région Pays de la Loire administrativement tandis qu'elle fait partie de la Bretagne historique.

La commune fait partie de la Bretagne historique, dans le pays traditionnel du Pays de Retz et dans le pays historique du Pays Nantais..

Ses habitants sont appelés Pornicais et les Pornicaises.

La commune englobe également celles de Sainte-Marie-sur-Mer et du Clion-sur-Mer.

Pornic est située au bord de l'océan Atlantique. La ville est connue pour son château et son vieux port. Ses principales ressources sont aujourd'hui le tourisme et les produits de la mer.

Pornic est également célèbre pour sa faïencerie, son casino et son centre de thalassothérapie.

Hello Francine,
You keep on uploading these beautiful faces from children, something were you are really good at. Here he seems in deep thoughts and probably not aware of your presence. Excellent framing with a nice bokeh with still enough detail in the background...very nice.

Very appealing portrait of this little boy lost in his thoughts and clutching his ice cream. Good use of depth of field that gives the right emphasis to the boy but still allows us to see the context. Very good light and natural colours. Fine clarity.

ouf, j'arrive à prendre un peu de temps pour faire un tour dans les galeries de mes amis...je le dis et le redis souvent : vivement la retraite...mais ce n'est hélas pas pour tt de suite !
bien cadré ton petit blondinet, et surtout très belle lumière. j'espère que tu as passé un bon week end, j'attends de tes nouvelles. au fait, la glace, elle était à la banane ??????

Hello Francine,

This is an excellent portrait of the boy in deep thought, and feeding on a cone of "food for thought." I like the idea of portraying him without intruding on his space; he is not disturbed by a lens aimed at him, and can just be a little boy. Good note,

Ah, les glaces de Pornic... souvenir ému! :D

Je ne suis pas (encore?) un grand fan des photos d'êtres humains, mais celle-ci a qqchose. L'éclairage, l'expression de l'enfant, l'arrière-plan... Bien joué!
