Photographer’s Note

Une construction étalée sur 457 ans, et cette cathédrale de style gothique flamboyant est une petite merveille d'équilibre et de cohérence.
Une lumière blanche et pure filtre au travers de beaux vitraux contemporains et se répercute sur la pierre claire. Résultat sans doute de sa restauration récente après un incendie en 1972 ?

Impressive verticality & architecture. It makes me remember the monastery of Batalha in Portugal that seems quite similar to what I see here. Good tight framing and nice lighting even if not magical.
