In the city of Nantes, one of the towers built in 1909, which framed the entrance to the old factory LU brand cookies emblematic of the city of Nantes Lefèvre Utile, near the Castle of Dukes of Brittany, also said castle of Anne of Brittany.

The old factory LU became a cultural center, the Lieu Unique.

A LU history.

NANTES is a French municipality, placed in the department of Loire-Atlantique of the region Pays de la Loire, populated with 282 047 Nantais in 2009, distributed on 65,2 km² en 2009, that is to say 4 326.5 hab./km².

The city of Nantes is situated on the banks of the Loire river, in 50 km of the Atlantic Ocean.

Bonjour Joël,

La distance entre la personne et la tour donne d ela profondeur à l'image. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails et les couleurs de la tour. La bonne luminosité rehausse les couleurs de l'image. Bonne journée.

Hello Joël.
And, very nice biscuits they are too! The chosen point of view shows the unusual and interesting tower to very good effect, whilst also allowing the inclusion of the man sat in his shirt sleeves who contributes to the summery mood. I like also the framing offered by the greenery and the lovely sky. A nicely lit image with very good colours and sharpness. Bravo!

Bonjour Joel,

Je me souviens de mon arrivée devant cette tour et d'avoir cherché un stationnement pas loin pour pouvoir la prendre en photo.Structure très belle et aussi surprenante. Une belle image de qualité avec cet homme songeur sur la gauche.

lovely architecture. It seems very unique. You have presented it in a great light here. It was a good idea to step back and include some foreground here as it adds a very nice touch.

HI Joël,
A good inclusion of the man at the foreground. He adds life and also depth to the picture. As there is another man at that interesting tower, we get a sense of size and distance. The architecture of this tower is indeed very special!

Bonsoir Joël,

Je n'avais encore jamais vu la tour sous cet angle, le cadrage est soigné, tout comme les abords de l'ancienne usine, réhabilités avec beaucoup de goût. La lumière comme la végétation me font languir d'être au printemps !

this is one of those photos where I have to be honest in saying that i didn't really think much of if when viewed in the small gallery - but it shows its real self in this larger format.
super sharp, crisp and full of life because of its brightness and luminosity.

Cette fameuse tour LU n'est pas très facile à photographier, on manque de recul. J'aime bien ton cadrage avec l'abri tram et le beau ciel en arrière plan.

Une composition très belle dans ce coin architectures magnifiques mélanges varient entre les arbres, la tour est certainement un grand orginalidad bâtiment fascinant et donne une grande force à la composition, un ciel splendide, aide à compléter ce tableau merveilleux.
