A view from Malakoff quay on La Cité - Nantes Events Center and its reflections in Saint-Félix Canal. This photo was inspired by this one I saw yesterday on TE. The weather conditions were pefect this morning for this kind of pictures, sun and no wind. So I made many photos around the canal !

La Cité - Nantes Events Center is a convention center situated in Champ-de-Mars distrinct in Nantes, along Saint-Félix Canal close to Nantes train station. It was was designed by the architect Yves Lyon. It was built from 1986 to 1992. The total cost was about 800 millions francs (about 120 millions euros). It hosts business events (workshops, conventions, exhibitions, ...), concerts and performances. It has exhibition halls, meeting rooms and 3 auditoriums. The biggest one is called Grand Auditorium and has about 2,000 seats. It is the place where National Orchestra of Pays de la Loire plays most of the time.

La Cité also hosts every year in late january / early february a classical music festival named La Folle Journée (i.e. "The Crazy Day"). This festival aims at giving access to classical music to people with short time and affordable concerts. It takes place from 1995 and is a very successful festival now known all over France.

Sharpness, exposure, colors, chosen pov, composition with that attractive symmetrical reflection, contrasts, horizontal format and black & white borders are all excellent features and really pleased me!
