Photographer’s Note

Nantes Cathedral of St Peter; the sunshine goes through the windows and splashes on the pillars.

The construction of the cathedral began in 1434 and ended lately in 1891; it's 103 meters long and 38,5 meters wide.

About the pillars themselves... They're made of granite and freestone. The granite is for the base, as it's robust and can resist to humidity. The upper part of the pillars is made of freestone (which doesn't resist to humidity).
