Photographer’s Note

Sunset on river Loire, from the end of Isle of Nantes. Isle of Nantes, also Isle of Beaulieu, is an island on the river Loire in the center of Nantes. Until the 80s, the west part of the island hosted the port of Nantes and some industrial buildings, in particular Nantes shipyards. Today it is an industrial wasteland and a big urban project. In particular you can see there the very famous elephant many people already showed on TE. At the end of the island, ancient bananas hangar has been transformed in restaurants, pubs and night clubs. This photo was token next to this bananas hangar.
