Photographer’s Note

Built by Jean de Chambes, adviser of Charles VII, it was pilot Wars of religion and Alexandre Dumas located at it, the death of the Lord of Bussy lover of Francoise de Maridor, the Lady of Montsoreau. Rigolo de voir que Montsoreau I est une photo de Saïd faite le même jour, Philippe! On se paie donc des escapades en Pays de la Loire entre membre de TE, donc! :)
J'ai l'impression que Saïd vous a conseillé la légère sous exposition sur cette photo...
La photo très bien réalisée et on voit par la distortion du bâtiment que celui-ci est grand!
A qui faut il dire Bravo? Philippe ou Saïd?

Beautiful color contrast between the walls and the deep blue sky in the background. It was a pity you cut a tiny part of the top, at left. I've done a workshop, just to try another view aligning vertical lines. Hope you like it.

The historical tour continues with you Philippe - good to see you again! Absolutely grand, sharp shot of this stunning building - you captured a wonderful amount of detail of this intricate piece of architecture. Beautiful contrast with the blue sky behind. Very good shot.

It's the light, again, together with pale colors and the slight lens distortion. They all create a strange atmospgere, bur a wonderful composition. Well done, Philippe.

Que dire en plus de toutes ces éloges reçues ?
Je ne connaissais pas le résultat des prises de vues de Philippe.
J'avoue que les photos se complètent pour ce thème commun.
La composition est serrée, vu l'impossibilité de recul même avec un "Wide angle", la cour est petite.
Mais cela permet d'apprécier les détails de cette architecture. qui contraste bien avec le bleu du ciel. Le texte est de bonne inspiration.

Après la photo de Didi nous découvrons un peu plus de ce sympathique chateau qui a probablement été restauré récemment car il semble en très bon état. La photo est fort bien exposée et le cadrage est interessant, c'est toujours difficile de faire un choix lorsqu'on ne peut pas tout faire entrer dans le cadre.

Le cadrage serré ,cette porte ouverte et la partie droite avec ce mur ouvert sur le ciel tout cela me donne une impression de décor de cinéma. Très original

Very nicely photographed. It's very strong in appearance and the sky is a great background. The castle soars above us in this view, yet with a certain lightness that offsets the heaviness. This is where that mixture of old and new come in very nicely in this building. Just a minor suggestion would be to clone that tree sticking over the wall at right out. Then the castle would stand alone against the sky free of all hindrance and be very powerful. But still it still has that power and shows that mixture of styles as you point out. Nicely done.

Une belle image de cette partie du château de Montsoreau, la prise de vue permet de distinguer avec précision les détails et les couleurs de l'architecture du château. La photo reçoit une bonne luminosité ce qui fait ressortir les couleurs. Bonne journée.
