Photographer’s Note

The Château de Montsoreau is an exceptional site for many reasons :

• its geographical situation, on the confluence of the Vienne and Loire rivers. Few monuments can today can today boast of having the royal river : “la Loire” as its garden.

• an exceptional site too, by this architecture spanning two worlds, the Middle Ages and modern times. Both a stronghold and a château.

• Finally exceptional by the innovative character of the real travel-show to be unveiled through the 18 rooms of the Château.

Dit is opnieuw een prachtig kasteel Fred, de witsteen bewerking is zeer mooi verwerkt, echt vakmanschap, de traptoren in de hoek is mooi, daar hou ik echt van deze stijl, de kruismonelen in de ramen passen perfect en hebben een mooie verhouding. Proficiat voor het maken van dit mooie beeld Fred!

Composition légèrement différente de la mienne photographiée au printemps dernier.
J'insistais particulièrement sur la partie de droite à partir de la base.
Ici la vue est plus éclatée sur les toits; cela a été favorisé par un éclairage plus doux.

The diagonal perspective emphasizes the grandeur of this fine building really well, Fred, making it look genuinely imposing. Great richness of textures and ornate architectural detail, and as usual well annotated. Well done.

Bonsoir Fred,
Un château que nous connaissons bien Didi (Saïd) et moi ! ;-)
La prise de vue est parfaite pour valoriser les fines sculptures de la cage d'escalier avec les fenêtres à meneaux, il me semble apercevoir une salamandre emblème du Roi François 1er !
J'aime également ces lucarnes en pierre surmontées de pinacles à la façon de flèches de certaines cathédrales.
P.S. : Tu n'as pas chômé pendant ton séjour en France à voir ton parcours.

Un très joli morceau d'architecture dans composition bien réussie.Bel angle de prise de vue qui permet de distinguer les ornements du haut qui se dessinent sur le ciel. A nouveau bien vu !

bonsoir Fred, un endroit magnifique que ce chateau, il me semble me rappeler un tele-film," la dame de Montsorau" très beau feuilleton.
En ce moment très peu de temps à consacrer à TE hélas.
Je me permets de te souhaiter une bonne fin d'année, un njoyeux Noël, et surtout de te présenter tous mes voeux pour cette année 2005, la paix, la joie, le bonheur, et la santé.
