Photographer’s Note

Angers, flourishing university town, were towards XIIe century, the regional capital d'un empire which s'étendait jusqu'en Scotland. Aujourd'hui its old narrow streets and its Cathedral are evocative of its long history. Here the western frontage of theSaint-Maurice Cathedral. One can still see the impressive Gothic sculptures there frontage.
