The "Tapestry of the Apocalypse" is a monumental medieval tapestry with 103 meters high on approximately 4,5 meters in height, preserved at the Castle of Angers.
It was ordered between 1373 and 1377 by duke Louis Ier of Anjou, and was completed in the neighbourhoods of 1382.

really impressive,i never heard of this before. this is a very subtle and beautiful picture, and the person looking at the tapestry makes the picture even better.

Ces tapisseries plusieurs fois centenaires sont magnifiques.
Une photo aussi bien faite pour montrer et un personnage qui donne l'échelle.

jolie prise pour une merveille qui vaut à elle seule le déplacement à angers mais c'est loin d'être tout cette ville est particuliérement attirante et puis de si bons vins tout près, bref un bon moment de douceurs angevines
