Photographer’s Note

Installed in an old abbey (All Saints' day abbey) of XIe century, near the castle, in Angers, the plasters of its sculptures are presented there. Covered with glass, the nave offers a natural light thus. One immediately surprised and is filled with wonder by these colossi at plaster flirtants with daylight which equips them with various ways according to the liking of the clouds.

A good play of light and shadow, Georgy
Amazing lines of shadow on the wall create and interesting pattern especially on the blue window. Great lighting on the statue.

Très jolie photo de cette sculpture.
La lumière est du plus bel effet et le cadrage est tout bon.

Bonsoir Georgy,
Prendre en photo une sculpture est toujours risqué. On se retrouve avec une sculpture représentant trucmuche et réalisée par untel. Bon, et après ? Mais là, il y a évidemment cette lumière et tout ce réseau compliqué de lignes qui viennent magnifier l'oeuvre. Du coup, la photo est tout de suite plus intéressante. Le bleu qui trône au milieu de l'image est superbe.
