Good Morning Everyone,

In contrast to my post of Bas Sablons, previously, this shot shows the sands at Saint Malo. Here, there were lots of people enjoying the ambience of the sun, the sea and the sand.

Saint Malo is a beautiful town, especially the old town, where we stayed. The square outside our hotel was frequented by street artists such as musicians, ballerinas, jugglers and artists. We were captivated!

hard to imagine warm lazy days by the sea with winter still gripping us all hard at the moment, but this shot goes a long way to dispelling those winter blues. An enticing and tantalising composition with all the elements perfectly placed and full of appeal. An absorbing glimpse of this irresistible beach and seafront.

A nice mid-summer beach scenery, Beverly, yet the sand itself not occupied with many vacationers, I recon. Yet, some even not going far on the vast sand area - just consume sime sun-rays...
Fine shot with view as far as the rocky islands, and combined with an old edifice along the promenade.
Memories in mid-winter's yielding to hot weather...

This sounds like a place that has something for all ages and your shot has great appeal. The weather doesn't look the best for beach activities though Bev and the foursome in the FG look at a bit of a loss! Time for tea and cake perhaps? A lovely look at holidays! Warm regards rosemary

hi Bev, Nice place to enjoy the sand and sun. I am not sure about the sea, I like warm water and it seems to me that here the water is rather cold. Wonderful lazy holidays mood.

A very pleasant scene with people relaxing in the summer sun. The photo is nicely divided in two different parts, one with sand and sea and the other with the building (a fortress?). How were the oysters here?

Apart from the slightly tilted horizon line, all is well here. Good sharpness, colour, saturation and composition with the horizon line well positioned above the centre. I particularly like nthe warm cold colour contrast between the blue & red tits in the sand, wall, railings and skin tones. The people add scale & context. Tfs!

We dont usually see people photos from you so this is a nice surprise.
What catches my attention right away is the light and exposure....both spot on. The scene also has a peaceful way about it, perhaps its the wish for warm weather to return!
