Saint Brieuc's Cathedrale Photo

Photographer’s Note

Those last years, the town of St Brieuc in Bretagne made a work for the lightning of the main monuments (old architecture). This is the front side of the Cathedrale which is particular as it was a fortress church where the people went to protect themself in Middle Age.
This photo is not so nice because of the bottom to top point of view with very wide angle lens, but in front of the church there is a horrible car-park and I did not want to have cars on this photo.
I hope you will be at least be interested by this work of lightning. I hope in next years this place will be only for walkers (but I think it is a dream...).

Hello Yves,
I always wonder why excellent photos like this don't get much attention. I find the architectual details and the nightime lighting to be wonderful to observe. That 10-22 lens of yours is a beautiful piece of glass and tailor-made for this type of photography (especially when you have no choice about the photo angle and have to get real close to the subject). A beautiful capture of this beautiful old church!

J'aimes cette photo de par l'originalité de son sujet, de son cadrage en contre plongée, de ces couleurs etonnantes de nuit, de par l'effet donné par le grand angle.

Yves, c'est une photo qui attire l'oeil par ses couleurs et les lignes très pures de l'architecture. Je trouve beaucoup d'élégance pour cet édifice.
