Photographer's Note

The first lighthouse(headlight) of Ploumanac' hour dates 1860. Destroyed in 1944, he(it) was replaced by the current lighthouse in 1946. Of night, he is locatable thanks to his red light with eclipses with a white sector. This last color being visible only between the island Tomé and the island Rouzic. The current version was built by Martin and brother (begun(undertaken) by local BTP(BUILDING AND CIVIL ENGINEERING WORKS) of period according to the plans of the architect Henry Auffret.
