Photographer’s Note

While in Brittany, I always found that looking at the sky was much more interesting than looking at any TV program. Always changing in a totally unexpected way, all grey with fantastic clouds during a while, then all blue with fluffy white clouds drifting a minute after.

le ciel est splendide,ce que j'aime c'est sa couleur légèrement gris-mauve(sur mon écran),et ce fabuleux nuage blanc qui semble éclairé par le soleil.L'harmonie avec la couleur de la mer est superbe!

what a typical weather and light. I love this fast changes of that region with so many impressing views. The superb cloud structure covering more and more the ocean and hiding the beautiful surface is well captured.

But that is nothing particular to Bretagne. TV is so boring everywhere that it is much better to go out and take photos. Your sky is fabulous and the POV superb. I like it a lot.

Effectivement ce ciel sombre est somptueux et la texture moutonneuse de ce gros nuage blanc illuminé par au dessus est magnifique. difficile de se lasser d'un tel spectacle. Superbe.

Un ciel breton c'est même mieux que le cinémascope qui existait il y a pas mal d'années maintenant, car qui arrivera à faire un écran aussi grand?
Bravo pour la capture de la lumière qui illumine ces cumulus pour un court instant sans doute. La mer a de bien belles teintes aussi.
Vive le ciel breton et mort à la télé !

Always good to see someone take an ordinary - well, everyday - view and make it extraordinary. Forces us to think a bit differently about the world.

I think I would have cropped it a bit to take out that little bit of tree in the far right, also for better proportions. Chacun a son gout.

A simple but effective compo. The white cumulous clouds, sits amidst the grey clouds, giving a 3D appearance. Inclusion of the tree in the FG is well done. Good work!

Le titre est bien vu, on peut s'arrêter et regarder le ciel... c'est sqns doute mieux que certains programmes! Belle tonalité de couleur, sombre mais pas trop car il y a de la profondeur et une lumiere diffuse... Minimailite et efficace

It's easy to understand what you mean by looking at the photo. It's gorgeous! The clouds and their colours are amazing and you have used them, the trees on the FG and the tones on the sea to make a very pleasant compo.

regardeless where I find myself on this world I ALWAYS think it is much more worth to look around then watching TV. the scene here is certainly a pretty good example for such statement and anyone will agree with that. I like how you isolated the white cloud in the middle with all the surroundings with the impression of some storm coming up.

Of course the sky makes the shot here. Impressive and dramatic clouds contrsting with a nice green sea. The silhouettes balance the picture very well.

Vincent, as if the perfect photograph was not itself enough you add a note that screams to my heart. Amen, the sky and it's ever changing dynamic is far more enjoyable and entertaining than anything on the TV these days. Crisp and contrasty this shot has tons of feeling, great work, well seen and realized.
